As a passionate writing educator, Amy Klein is committed to helping students master the art of communication. She guides her pupils in crafting compelling admissions essays, nurturing the development of their unique voice, and empowering them to express their ideas with clarity and confidence.
Amy's own academic journey has equipped her with an impressive foundation for teaching. She graduated summa cum laude from Harvard, earning a BA in English and American Literature & Language, and honing her skills in a selective creative writing program. Further deepening her expertise, Amy obtained her MFA in Writing from Columbia University. During this time, she assisted students in New York City in navigating the complex process of gaining admission to their dream schools.
With a global perspective, Amy has not only coached writers in the US but also taught in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Tokyo. Her enthusiasm for helping students reach their academic and creative goals knows no borders.
When she isn't shaping the next generation of writers, Amy enjoys spending quality time with her two adorable nieces. She is also a culinary adventurer, delighting in cooking and sampling foods from around the world. As a talented musician, Amy loves playing the guitar and performing with her band, perfectly harmonizing her passion for creativity in both writing and music.
