Our mission

Our Mission is to support the global community of international school students taking the next step towards the future they dream of

We are the future of the education industry.

When we set up Millie Group in 2019, we decided to do things differently because we believe that all education, especially online learning, should be collaborative, encourage curiosity, and be tailored to a student's needs.

Inclusivity is also key to our ethos, which is why we provide a wealth of informative free content for all international school students. We also offer pro bono support each year to several students without the necessary means to pay for services.

Our story

How Millie came to life

In 2016, Millie co-founders Jenna and Ariel sat in a cafe in Hong Kong and shared their dreams about making education more enjoyable and future study decisions easier to make. They were frustrated that - despite our digital world - there were no real communities online where the 6 million international school students across the world could actively enage with each other to figure out their futures.

Based on their own experiences, they decided to find a way to:

  • Demystify the career and major exploration process
  • Work with students holistically, rather than just to help them pass exams
  • Be the helpful guide for international school students and their parents to make more informed decisions

That dream fully came to life when Jenna met Giuseppe whilst completing their MBAs at Columbia University and London Business School. Like Jenna and Ariel, Giuseppe is a huge believer in life-long learning and self-development. Together, they started a conversation about building a global business with a human face: about social impact and bringing education into the 21st century. Hence, Millie was born.

What we do

Addressing the un-met needs of 10,000 international schools

As an international school student, it might seem from the outside that the world is your oyster. But we know you may be suffering from huge choice paralysis about the future after high school.

You might attend one of the few international schools in your city, but globally, there are 6 million students enrolled in international schools. What's more, the number of international schools is going to almost double over the next decade. So, you are not alone...

There are other students out there worried about how to apply for university in another country: studying within the British curriculum but preparing for US universities for example, or in the IB curriculum interested in a career in Hong Kong.

So, we decided to build a support platform dedicated to you. We have an inclusive approach, students from all countries and curriculums are welcome and we are using technology to connect top mentors and peers from around the world to help you find the next stage in your education journey.

We like to think of ourselves as the big brothers & sisters for students in need of academic, major, and career help.
