The College application process is stressful and demanding, not so easy to be managed by a twelfth grader. So much to do in a pressed schedule, on top of the regular school assignments and assessment! There were times my boy felt overwhelmed and got dispirited which made me rather anxious and worried.

I am deeply grateful to the Millie team (Ariel, Jenna, Erika, Anushka and Amanda) for their patience, understanding and professionalism. The schedule and tasks set for my son (James) are well planned and coordinated, and at the same time, flexible and accommodating to James’s situations, James was applying to global destinations, the tasks and deadlines came one after one, not to mention those for his school assignments, tests, quizzes and summatives … He was so stretched and stressful. At some point of time, he started to shrink from work and make slow progress. Ariel (our head counsellor) kept a close contact with me and offered me with good advice to support James. Apart from helping James to stay productive and get things completed on time, the counsellors were guiding him to learn to reflect, manage his time, work out a practical plan, deal with problems, and go beyond limits. Their insightful guidance and helpful advice are valuable to James.

I also want to say a big thank you to Ariel for putting great efforts in organising and preparing James to run a webinar on chess which was his first try. The presentation of James was truly impressive, I am so glad to see that James has matured a lot and become much more confident in public speaking. Ariel also offered extra help support to James in interview preparation, much appreciated!

Thank you very much to the entire Millie team to walk James through the college admissions process. Your professional support and kind encouragement mean a lot to us!
