When Asil, counsellor at ACS Hillingdon, got in touch, she had already heard about us.

Nickeisha Thomas, counsellor at ACS Doha, had invited her to some of the sessions Millie had hosted for her students and she did not want to miss out.

The biggest area she thought her students would benefit from would be fine arts. Given the global nature of the industry and the interests of her students, we decided this would be best covered by a panel format.

We sourced three mentors for this panel, all with international upbringing and multi-country careers:

• A graduate of Central Saint Martins and Royal College of Art with experience in the UK and Malaysia
• A graduate of UCL with experience in the UK and Hong Kong
• A graduate of Princeton with experience in the UK and the US

During a dense 45-minute session, students went through a steep learning curve around all things art careers - from museum jobs to private galleries, from curating careers to jewellery design.
