Meet the Panelists

  • Irene Katopodis earned a Master's degree in International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS University of London and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs and Anthropology. She is currently a Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York City (since Mar 2024). Prior to this, she held a variety of roles including Senior Consultant at Interbrand (2022-2023), Senior Consultant at OCTANE Management Consultants (2021-2022), and as Lead Consultant at Gartner (2020). Irene is currently based in New York, United States.
  • Alessandro Bosco earned an MA in International Relations at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in 2021 and a Bachelor in International and Diplomatic Sciences at the University of Trieste in 2019. He is currently Project Manager at Maritime Technology Cluster FVG (since Mar 2024), Treasurer at Rime Aps (since Oct 2020) and Project Coordinator at Rime Aps (since Oct 2017). Prior to this, he held multiple roles at Rime Aps as Tutor (2019-2023), and Vice President (2017-2020). Alessandro is currently based in Italy.
  • Julius Lajtha earned an MA in International Relations and Legal Studies at the University of Aberdeen in 2023. He is currently a Timetable Redesign Implementation Manager at Deutsche Bahn (since Oct 2023). Previously, he held a variety of roles at the European Commission as a Climate Pact Ambassador (2020-2023), and Project Manager for the European Climate Pact at (2021-2022). He was President at the Young European Movement UK (2019-2023) and Activity Leader at EF Education First (2022). Julius is based in London, United Kingdom.
