Whether applying to the UK, the US, or Hong Kong, it's crucial to stay on top of deadlines to maximize your chances of success. From early decision dates to entrance exams and interviews, understanding when key application moments occur will help you organize and strategize for the best possible outcome.

Global University Application Timeline

Details:

  • UK Oxbridge Deadlines - Oct 15

  • UK Oxbridge, Med, Law Entrance Tests - Aug - Oct (most in October, UCAT for medical schools earlier)

  • US Early Deadlines - Nov 1 (some extending to Nov 15)

  • US UC Deadlines - End Nov - Early Dec (this year Dec 2)

  • HK Early Deadlines - End Nov (vary by university; first-round or early round)

  • US Early Decision Results - Mid-December

  • UK Entrance Exams - Oct - Jan (e.g. ESAT for engineering has two dates: Oct & Jan)

  • UK Regular Deadlines - Last Wednesday of January

  • US Regular Decision Results - By Apr 1

  • US Decision Deadlines - May 1 (commitment & deposit)

  • IB + AP + A'Lvls Test Dates - May - Jun

  • IB + AP Results Out - Early July

  • A Levels Results Out - Aug 15

  • UK Clearing - Jul - Aug (open for unfilled seats for universities that have not meeting their enrollment target)
