Most internships are like one stage of a relay race - someone hands you a baton and you pass it to the next person. With Millie’s internships, you have the freedom to design the track, the baton, the format of the relay race - as long as you have the ideas and put in the effort.

What makes an internship fulfilling? The “experience” you can add to your resume? The skills you pick up? The money you make? Perhaps all of these are important in their own way, but what really makes a difference is the excitement.

The excitement of waking up with a brilliant new idea - and seeing it come to life. The excitement of seeing your efforts create a tangible change not only in your users’ experience, but also in the way you and your team work. The excitement of knowing that you’re treated like a team member, not an intern with predefined tasks, and that your ideas, thoughts and efforts will be given as much support as needed to grow and a platform to be showcased.

Working at Millie revolves around this excitement - you’re working on the future of EdTech, college admissions counseling and academic tutoring. You’re working with a team that’s spread across the world, from London and NY to Jakarta and Milan. You’re working under and learning from leaders who will challenge you on every task you undertake, and dedicate their time to helping you grow, professionally and personally.

Most internships are like one stage of a relay race - someone hands you a baton and you run over, passing it to the next person. With Millie’s internships, you and your teams have the freedom to design the track, the baton, the format of the relay race and anything else you can think of - as long as you have the ideas and put in the effort. And the excitement and adrenaline rush that comes with this is why I loved every minute of working at Millie.
